Wasn’t the Malcolm theatre at one time where spin city record shop is at Highland and Poplar, it was also Lowensteins Dept store at one time.

Yes, there was a movie theater in that spot at one time… I think that’s why that big corner window is so big. I don’t have our book in front of me but at the moment but I know it figured in many people’s memories of the Normal Station neighborhood, which we covered in one of the chapters, just can’t remember what it was called.
