“Once a Memphian, always a Memphian.” Those words are said by Bob Taylor who sent us a link to one of his blog posts on his website he calls “Istaboa’s Waypoints.”
In this blog post he speaks of his return to Memphis and takes us on a little journey of Downtown Memphis during his age of 13, as he recollects the endearing memories imprinted on him by this place.
In one of our previous posts, Lauren Squires speaks of her love of living downtown in today’s age. Here now is life downtown in the mid-sixties through the eyes of a 13 year old:
